We offer a wide range of geological, engineering, planning and consulting services in the field of construction and the environment.
GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEERING
PLANNING, EXECUTION AND SUPERVISION OF SITE INVESTIGATIONS
Geotechnics is one of our main activities. Our experienced geologists and civil engineers offer you various services in this field. For the procurement of drillings we rely on specialised drilling companies, while we carry out dynamic soundings with and without core extraction ourselves.
Groundwater is one of the most important indigenous resources. Over 80% of Switzerland's drinking water is extracted from groundwater. Groundwater is also a central element of the natural water cycle and feeds valuable habitats such as moors, springs and wetlands. Our groundwater is negatively affected by the constant increase in human activities. We are therefore committed to the sustainable management of this important raw material.
The problem of contaminated sites occupies a central position in our field of activity. This primarily involves the implementation of and compliance with legal requirements for the classification of suspected contaminated sites (contaminated site law) and construction projects involving excavation or demolition in the area of contaminated sites (waste law).

With the increasingly scarce reserve of building land, the conversion and demolition of old buildings is becoming increasingly important. On the one hand, construction workers, third parties and the environment must be protected from building pollutants during conversion and demolition work, and on the other hand, correct disposal must be carefully planned. In general, asbestos, PAH, PCB and heavy metals are the main pollutants in the building fabric.
Nowadays ecology, environmental protection and sustainability are of central importance for every building project. We look for the optimal solution for our clients, taking into account ecological and economic aspects.

Building is always associated with geological risks. One of the tasks of the geotechnical engineer is to identify and assess these risks, which is of great importance to the client.
Engineering geology and geotechnics without control measurements are incomplete. Therefore, in addition to the scientific and engineering tasks, we have specialised in electronically supported measurement technology, some of which extends far into the field of civil engineering and building material testing.
Inclinometer analyses for the detection of slipping mechanisms as well as for deformation measurements on pile and diaphragm walls etc.
Vibration measurements during pile driving or blasting works and traffic loads as well as mechanical vibration problems
The environmental protection factor plays an increasingly important role in the realisation of larger construction projects and can lead to increased costs and delays in the construction project. By means of a coordinated environmental construction supervision, possible complications in this area can be detected and prevented at an early stage.
Support for the licensing procedure regarding environmental protection and nature conservation regulations
Environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental impact report (EIS)
With increasing climate change, the negative effects on permafrost soils are steadily increasing, especially in our alpine region. The increased occurrence of thawing and freezing processes is reflected on the one hand by the increasing occurrence of rockfalls and mudslides, and on the other hand by damage and movements to existing infrastructure structures.
