Kopter Group AG is planning a large-scale expansion of its existing facilities on the site of the former military airfield Mollis. Several production and parking halls as well as office space including parking garages on a total area of around 18,000 m2 are planned.

On behalf of the client, we were entrusted with clarifying the geotechnical as well as the hydrogeological issues regarding dewatering and geothermal groundwater use. In February 2019, a total of four rotary core drillings were cut to depths of max. 20 meters below ground level. In order to determine the potential for groundwater use and the technical water quality, two wells were upgraded to test wells.
