As per end of 2014, the dismantling of the factory and the excavation of the contaminated soil close to the former PAV operations in Vaduz could practically be completed. The Community of Vaduz assigned our office to accompany the dismantling and excavation works in regards to the contamination problems. In doing so, the existing pollutions of the building structure and the ground soil, resulting from PAV’s operations over decades, have been triaged and separately depolluted. In addition to the analysis from the preliminary inspection, the triage was based on analysis carried out in the laboratories. Thus, the correct way of waste disposal could be chosen. This kind of procedure regarding the dismantling and the excavation allowed a correct and comprehensible disposal of the material.
